Position: Sales Administrator
Location: Meridian Water
Salary: £27,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday - Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm
We are currently in search of an experienced Sales Administrator team member to start work immediately in Meridian Water. This is a temp to perm position working within a busy office and reporting to the Sales Director.
Some of the main duties will include:Liaising with customers regarding their product or application requirements and matching them to our range.Provide regular updates to customers in relation to their orderLiaise with Sales team regarding customer accounts and delivery solution.Deal with queries and complaints from customers taking ownership from start to finish.Updating customer databaseFollow up with customers by phone and/or email.Processing & data input of customer orders received via online shop, by email, in person or over the phone.Required experience and qualities:
Eye for detail and be extremely accurate.Strong communication skills both verbally and written as you will be liaising with a wide range of people from customers to suppliers.Previous experience within materials handling, storage equipment or other similar technical industries preferableKnowledge of Sage Software useful, but not essential.We would expect the successful candidate to have a desire to understand the full product range. They must be able to absorb and retain this information and be able to provide advice to customers.Excellent organisational skills.You must be a self-starter, assertive and proactive.Excellent level of written and spoken English required.How to Apply:

Candidate Specification
Background:
Ideally, a degree-educated person with direct experience in the roles listed above. Experience working within manufacturing businesses and knowledge of pipe racking systems is not essential, but highly desirable.
With a good understanding of customer service, you will have spent most of your career in office-based roles and can quickly learn and understand all administrative or office-based processes. The job will also involve discussions with customers and our sales, technical & production teams, so confident and clear communication skills are required.
Experience:
Must have office-based experienceMust also be able to evidence delivery of processes and improvementsExperience in lean manufacturing preferredMicrosoft Office experience - Excel/Word etcPersonal Attributes:Self-starter with initiative - can make it happenExcellent interpersonal skillsPositive and good communicator - strong presentation skillsTeam playerPrepared to be involved in other aspects of the company's operation as requested.
