Position Overview
As the Sales Director - Integrated Solutions, you will be responsible for driving individual sales efforts, developing strategic partnerships, and managing the entire sales cycle for advanced automation and integrated solutions. This role requires a dynamic and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the automation, logistics, or supply chain industries.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities in target industries.


Client Relationship Management:

Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, prospects, and key stakeholders.Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring alignment with their business needs and the company's offerings.


Solution Selling:

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product development teams to design tailored solutions.Effectively communicate the value proposition of integrated solutions.


Market Insights:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs.Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine sales approaches.


Pipeline Management:

Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.Forecast revenue and report sales performance metrics regularly.


Collaboration & Leadership:

Partner with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align sales efforts with company goals.Mentor and guide junior sales team members as needed.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field MBA preferred.8+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on automation, supply chain, or logistics solutions.Proven success in closing complex, high-value sales deals.Strong understanding of warehouse automation, robotics, or supply chain processes.Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as required.

* Do you enjoy working on large projects and building your own portfolio of clients from sales proposal, concepting to delivery?
* Do you have a background in pallet racking, shelving or design / warehouse related field?

The Client:
Our client is a subsidiary to an established, trusted parent company ($100m USD t/o) who manufactures and supplies global racking solutions to big brand retailers that are household names in the furniture/ home furnishings and grocery sectors.

Due to strong market demand and growth, they are now looking for a driven and commercially intelligent Sales Director to join their Melbourne office. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the new team member will be fully supported and given autonomy to develop new market strategies to acquire large scale racking and warehouse automation projects to drive greater revenue to the business.

Your Responsibilities:
* Lead the sales team to drive growth in the Australian market, focusing on racking solutions for warehousing and automation sectors.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and achieve revenue targets.
* Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including major retailers and large automation project
* Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.

You have:
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
* At least 5 years sales experience in warehousing/racking products, with proven success in new client acquisition.
* Deep understanding of retail/ industrial clients and automation project landscapes
* Target-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding KPIs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong negotiation skills, experience using a consultative selling approach.
* A strong focus on customer needs, delivery on customer expectations and customer satisfaction will be dominant in this role.
* Highest ethical standards and integrity.
* Current Australian Driver license.
* Solid Microsoft Office ability.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Existing network within major retailers, e.g Coles, Woolworths, or ALDI etc
* Experience in large-scale automation or warehousing projects
* Experience in Material handling DC
