We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing Warehouse Automation business, with a focus on developing new customer relationships and expanding sales opportunities across Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.
This is a B2B / freelance interim assignment for approximately 2 years, offering a high level of autonomy and direct cooperation with the Managing Director.
The role is strongly focused on business development and customer acquisition, with technical knowledge of warehouse automation supporting the pre-sales process.
Key responsibilitiesIdentifying and approaching potential end customersBuilding and managing a pipeline of new sales opportunitiesLeveraging both your existing industry network and an established customer databaseIdentifying key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organisationsUnderstanding customer business needs, processes and warehouse challengesPresenting relevant warehouse automation solutions during the pre-sales processPreparing preliminary budget estimates to support opportunity qualificationManaging customer objections and building strong, long-term relationshipsQualifying opportunities and handing them over to the sales and technical teams for detailed solution design and final calculationWhat we are looking for10+ years of experience in intralogistics and/or warehouse automationProven experience in Business Development or Sales, ideally with a strong hunter mindsetAn established network among end customers within the intralogistics / logistics sectorGood understanding of warehouse automation solutionsExperience with ASRS is a strong advantage, but broader automation experience is also highly relevantKnowledge of solutions and technologies offered by companies such as TGW, Dematic, SSI Schäfer, etc.Strong commercial understanding and the ability to connect customer needs with business solutionsExcellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skillsStrong objection-handling and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of independence, ownership and initiativeFluent EnglishDriving licence and willingness to travelLocation & TravelThe position can be based anywhere in Poland.
The role covers Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, therefore regular business travel across the region is expected.
