About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of advanced automated warehouse solutions across the UK and internationally. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle for large-scale automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) used in modern logistics and distribution environments.
The role is associated with our Birmingham office, however office attendance is flexible. Depending on project needs, the successful candidate may attend the office once a week, once a month, or as required, with the majority of time spent managing projects remotely or visiting customer sites.
This role will involve travel across the UK (approximately 50% of the time) and additional travel across Europe (approximately 20%) to support project delivery and customer engagement

Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, from planning through to final handover.Coordinate engineering, installation, commissioning, and customer teams throughout the project lifecycle.Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and changes.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.Support site activities during installation and commissioning phases when required.Requirements

* Manage budgets, risks, scope changes, stakeholder expectations, and project reporting while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Organise project kick-offs, lead meetings, and ensure clear communication between internal teams, customers, and external partners.
* Monitor project performance, identify potential delays or risks, and implement proactive solutions.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Manager, ideally within intralogistics, automation, engineering, or another complex technical industry.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on approach.
* Experience managing multidisciplinary projects with responsibility for timelines, budgets, and delivery.
* Fluent in Dutch and English; French and/or German is highly advantageous.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK is beneficial.
* Willingness to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time.
* Independent, organised, and able to take ownership of projects and drive results.

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experienceProven experience in project management of technical installations within logistics, industrial, or infrastructure environmentsExperience working on-site in operational facilities (e.g., warehouses, distribution centres)Strong understanding of installation, commissioning, and coordination of technical equipmentFamiliarity with safety and compliance requirements in industrial environmentsProject management certification and proficiency in PM toolsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple sites and projects across different European locationsFluent in English;
