The Project Manager will provide professional project management services to support the development, award, and delivery of automated solutions for both existing and new customers. Acting as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and third parties, this role holds direct responsibility, authority, and accountability for ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with client specifications and internal processes. This position will lead project teams and drive business objectives by ensuring that contracts are executed on time, within budget, and to agreed specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or a related field
- Extensive experience leading and managing large project teams
- Proven experience in a lead role on high-complexity, high-value projects
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Formal project management qualifications and experience with methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMI, or other structured project management frameworks
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 25%)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day implementation of resources to ensure project scope is delivered as specified
- Manage commercial and technical risks associated with projects
- Ensure project objectives are met efficiently in terms of cost, schedule, and compliance with quality and safety procedures
- Define quality expectations and targets, serving as the primary contact for quality assurance matters
- Maintain project registers and master files for accurate documentation
- Lead the project team and own delivery of the project management process
- Establish project briefs, scope, deliverables, and resource structures, assigning roles and responsibilities
- Develop integrated project plans and workstream schedules
- Create and maintain project meeting schedules with clear communication protocols
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies or contingency plans
- Resolve project issues in a timely manner
