Role: Robotics Assembly Technician

Location: Stratford

Salary: £50,000

Proactive are currently in search of an experienced Robotics Assembly Technician on a permanent basis to start work for a market leading robotics company in Stratford.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding engineering business where you will play an important role in the assembly, testing and installation of sophisticated electro-mechanical equipment. Working alongside experienced Engineers, Technicians and Project Managers, you will contribute to both product builds and continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical assembly, wiring and functional testing of products in the workshop and at customer sites.Assemble, test and install complex electro-mechanical systems to engineering specifications.Build, inspect and test mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies used across multiple product lines.Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards whilst maintaining full component traceability.Diagnose and resolve assembly, wiring and mechanical issues to minimise production delays.Provide feedback to Engineering and Production teams to support continuous improvement of products and manufacturing processes.Work closely with Engineers, Technicians and Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.

Skills & Experience

Minimum of 4 years' experience in a hands-on technician or assembly role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Strong experience with power and control panel wiring.Ability to read, understand and interpret electrical schematics and identify any discrepancies.Experience interpreting engineering documentation including assembly instructions, technical drawings and 3D CAD assemblies.Competent in routing and terminating electrical wiring, cabling, pneumatic tubing and conduit.Confident using a wide range of workshop equipment, hand tools and power tools safely.Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a practical engineering mindset.High attention to detail and a commitment to producing work to a consistently high standard.Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within assembly and manufacturing processes.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.Flexible approach to work, with willingness to support occasional weekend work (time off in lieu provided).
