Maintenance Technician - Automated Warehouse Systems (Low-Temperature Environment)

Location: Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódź Area), Poland
Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent
Working Hours: Monday-Friday | Day Shift (08:00-16:45)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a team supporting highly automated warehouse systems operating in a low-temperature environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an electro-mechanical or mechatronics background who enjoys troubleshooting advanced automation systems and working independently in a customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
  • Support automated stacker cranes and conveyor systems
  • Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure maximum system availability and operational performance
  • Work closely with customer maintenance teams and remote technical support

Requirements

  • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or mechatronics
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and understand PLC logic (programming not required)
  • Good English communication skills for cooperation with international technical support
  • Electrical certification and working-at-heights certification are considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Maintenance / Service Technician to join a team supporting automated material handling systems in a modern logistics environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop electro-mechanical skills and build expertise in warehouse automation, conveyors, sortation systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated warehouse systems
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
  • Support electrical troubleshooting and read electrical schematics
  • Help maintain maximum system availability and equipment performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Mechanical or electro-mechanical background
  • Vocational or technical education in mechanics, electromechanics, or electrical engineering is preferred
  • Basic English and fluent Polish
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office
  • Valid Category B driving licence
  • Willingness to work in a rotating 3-shift system
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within industrial automation
