Role Overview

The Relationship Manager- 3PL within our Permanent Recruitment division is responsible for developing and managing long-term customer partnerships while ensuring the successful delivery of permanent hiring solutions. This role acts as the bridge between clients and Talent Attraction teams, ensuring organisations secure the talent they need to achieve their growth and strategic objectives.

You will work closely with customers to understand their hiring priorities, provide market intelligence, and drive recruitment performance across a broad range of professional and technical positions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular engagement, both virtually and onsite.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, developing a deep understanding of their business, culture, and hiring requirements.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to review recruitment performance, hiring challenges, and future workforce plans.
  • Provide market insights into talent availability, salary benchmarking, and competitor hiring activity.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to support strategic hiring initiatives.

Service Delivery & Talent Attraction Management

  • Collaborate with clients to secure detailed role requirements and hiring briefs.
  • Lead and support Talent Attraction teams to ensure the successful delivery of qualified permanent candidates.
  • Monitor recruitment activity and performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Track key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, fill rate, quality of hire, interview ratios, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Ensure recruitment projects are delivered efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

Client Retention & Growth

  • Build long-term strategic relationships that position the business as a trusted recruitment partner.
  • Ensure clients receive an exceptional level of service and delivery.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and introduce additional recruitment solutions.
  • Work closely with Business Development teams to support account expansion and customer retention.

Internal Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide coaching and guidance to Talent Attraction teams to ensure a thorough understanding of client requirements.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Monitor team productivity, hiring performance, and SLA achievement.
  • Collaborate across Business Development, Operations, Talent Attraction, and Leadership teams to support client success.

Market Knowledge & Strategic Advisory

  • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Provide clients with strategic advice on workforce planning, employer branding, and candidate attraction.
  • Support customers in identifying future skill requirements and succession planning needs.
  • Deliver informed recommendations to improve recruitment outcomes and hiring efficiency.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Client Services, Recruitment Delivery, or Talent Acquisition role.
  • Experience managing permanent recruitment accounts and recruitment delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ATS, CRM, and recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Commercially minded with a strong focus on customer retention, growth, and service delivery.
