Relationship Manager - Warehouse Automation

Role Overview: The Relationship & Customer Success Manager in our Warehouse Automation sector will play a critical role in ensuring clients receive top-quality recruitment services. This position is responsible for building long-term relationships with clients, managing the delivery of specialised recruitment solutions, and leading internal Talent Attraction teams. By understanding both the recruitment needs and the unique demands of the warehouse automation field, you will ensure that companies in this sector secure the highly skilled talent they require to drive automation and logistics innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship & Account Management:

  • Build strong relationships with clients in the warehouse automation industry by regularly engaging them through virtual and onsite meetings to discuss recruitment performance and hiring needs.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for customers, understanding the specific technical requirements of roles within the warehouse automation sector, such as robotics engineers, automation specialists, and maintenance technicians.
  • Provide market insights into talent availability, salary trends, and hiring challenges specific to warehouse automation, ensuring clients make informed recruitment decisions.
  • Hold quarterly business reviews with clients to present recruitment performance data, highlight successes, and address any areas of concern or improvement.

Service Delivery & Talent Attraction Management:

  • Work closely with clients to secure detailed job vacancies and clearly communicate role-specific requirements ranging from technical skills in robotics to experience in automation software to the Talent Attraction team.
  • Manage the performance of the Talent Attraction team, ensuring they source, screen, and deliver candidates who are qualified for specialised roles in automation, robotics, and logistics.
  • Monitor and track recruitment KPI (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, fill rate) to ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds client expectations in this technical field.

Customer Success & Retention:

  • Ensure that clients are satisfied with the recruitment services provided, proactively addressing any issues or changes in recruitment needs as projects evolve or company growth accelerates.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify opportunities for up-selling recruitment services, such as specialised candidate searches for niche technical roles or high-volume hiring for expanding automation teams.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring their recruitment needs are met as they grow and innovate in the warehouse automation space.

Internal Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to team members to ensure they understand the technical requirements of positions in automation, robotics, and logistics.
  • Ensure that recruitment activity is fully tracked and reported, using internal systems to monitor progress and communicate updates to clients.
  • Ensure internal Talent Acquisition are hitting their weekly KPI meeting client SLA.

Market Knowledge & Strategic Advisory:

  • Stay informed about trends and developments in warehouse automation, robotics, and logistics, ensuring that you provide clients with relevant insights into talent acquisition in this rapidly evolving field.
  • Offer guidance on salary benchmarks, the competitive landscape for automation talent, and strategies for attracting hard-to-find candidates with niche technical skills.
  • Help clients anticipate future talent needs as warehouse automation technologies evolve, ensuring they have the right mix of skills to support ongoing innovation and growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Relationship Manager, Customer Success, or Account Management role, ideally within the recruitment industry or focused on technical sectors such as automation, robotics, or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of the technical and operational roles required in warehouse automation, including engineering, software development, maintenance, and operations management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with technical clients and manage expectations across multiple accounts.
  • Experience leading resourcing teams and managing service delivery in line with client requirements in highly technical fields.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage complex, high-volume accounts.
  • Familiarity with recruitment tools and systems (ATS, CRM), but focused on managing the delivery of recruitment services.
