Location: Basildon

Salary: £17.00ph - £20.00ph - Negotiable Depending on Experience

Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00am - 16:00pm

Proactive are currently recruiting for skilled Manual Machinist to start work in Basildon immediately. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leading manufacturing company. The Manual Machinist role will involve manufacturing of components and parts to support production in our Engineering Services groups.

Responsibilities

  • Operating manual machinery, mills, lathes etc. (not CNC).
  • Reading engineering drawings.
  • Production of components.
  • Working to tight tolerances.
  • Must have previous manual machining experience.
  • Any fabrication/welding experience advantageous.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy work area
  • Adhering to health and safety standards
