Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software for robotics, automation and warehouse systems
  • Design, implement and enhance software using C, C++ and Embedded Linux technologies
  • Create and execute unit, integration and system-level tests
  • Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and systems engineering teams
  • Analyse and optimise software performance and system behaviour
  • Contribute to software architecture, innovation projects and new product development
  • Work within agile development environments using modern development tools and methodologies

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline
  • Commercial experience within Embedded Software Development
  • Strong programming skills in C and/or modern C++
  • Experience with Embedded Linux environments
  • Knowledge of Python, Git, Docker or related technologies is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in English, with some positions also requiring German
