General Operative/Engineering operative/Line Operative/ Support operative

£15.00ph PAYE / £16.81ph including holiday pay

We are Looking for an Engineering / Warehouse Support Operative to work in a busy automated warehouse environment.You will work alongside the Maintenance team, carrying out basic checks on conveyors, machinery and automated systems, clearing jams/blockages and identifying faults before reporting more complex issues for repair.

Duties

• Operational and functionality checks
• Conveyor jam busting and blockage clearing
• Basic maintenance, cleaning, adjustment and lubrication
• Identify faults and help establish the cause
• Assist with planned, reactive and corrective maintenance
• Report faults to the Maintenance team
• Record work completed
• Follow health & safety procedures

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Worker, Conveyor Operative, Sorter, Production Operative, Line Operator, Machine Operator, MHE Operative, Maintenance Assistant or General Operative would be suitable.

Location: Warrington
Contract: 6 Months
Shifts: 12-hour Days & Nights
