📍 Location: Hook, RG27
🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00-16:30 | Friday, 08:00-13:00
💷 Salary: £30,000 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Electronics Design & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on innovative product development. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate with a background in electronics or electrical engineering who is eager to apply their skills in a practical, hands-on environment and grow within a supportive and dynamic team.
Role Overview
In this role, you will support the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and components, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production. You will assist in ensuring compliance with relevant standards, contribute to technical documentation, and play a key part in identifying and resolving issues across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of electronic products and circuits
- Support testing, fault diagnosis, and product validation against specifications
- Contribute to documentation and compliance (including CE/UKCA requirements)
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and production teams
- Participate in engineering change processes and provide ongoing technical support
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Solid understanding of electronic components and systems
- Familiarity with programming in C, C++ or C#
- Awareness of tools such as SolidWorks, Jira, Git, or Confluence (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, proactive approach
