Role Overview

The Associate Recruiter is an entry-level recruitment position designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career within the staffing and recruitment industry. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Talent Attraction professionals, and Business Development teams, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying top talent for our clients.

This role provides a clear career pathway into Recruitment Delivery, Account Management, Relationship Management, and Business Development. You will gain exposure to candidate sourcing, talent engagement, customer interaction, recruitment operations, and workforce solutions while developing the skills needed for future progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Attraction

  • Identify and engage qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and talent databases.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Conduct candidate outreach through phone, email, text, and social media channels.
  • Develop an understanding of client hiring requirements and target candidate profiles.
  • Support recruitment campaigns across multiple industries and skill sets.

Candidate Screening & Management

  • Conduct initial candidate screening calls to assess skills, experience, career goals, and suitability.
  • Qualify candidates against role requirements and company culture.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through placement.

Recruitment Delivery Support

  • Partner with Relationship Managers and Talent Attraction teams to support client hiring needs.
  • Assist with vacancy management and candidate shortlisting activities.
  • Maintain accurate records within ATS and CRM systems.
  • Ensure candidate information and recruitment activity are fully documented.
  • Support the delivery team in achieving client hiring objectives and service level agreements.

Learning & Development

  • Develop a strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and staffing industry.
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching programs.
  • Learn about client relationship management, account management, and business development.
  • Build expertise in sourcing techniques, candidate engagement, and recruitment best practices.
  • Gain exposure to customer-facing activities to support future career progression opportunities.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Talent Attraction, Relationship Management, and Business Development teams.
  • Participate in team meetings, recruitment strategy discussions, and training sessions.
  • Contribute to team objectives and overall business success.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the recruitment process.

Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, business development, recruiting, or a similar people-focused environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable building relationships and engaging with candidates over the phone and through digital platforms.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms.
