Position: Production Operator
Location: Hatfield

Proactive are currently recruiting for a Production Operator in Hatfield to start work immediately.

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the production process, primarily focused on picking cable components, assembling kits, and preparing materials for manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Picking cable parts and components accurately to build production kits
  • Cutting and preparing cables to required lengths and specifications
  • Assembling and kitting materials for production use
  • Checking picking lists and ensuring correct parts, quantities, and lot numbers are issued
  • Printing labels and maintaining accurate stock records
  • Using the companies systems to manage inventory and track materials
  • Supporting general production tasks as required to meet daily output targets
  • Working across different areas of production to support workflow and deadlines

Personal Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when picking and preparing cable kits
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to meet deadlines consistently
  • Experience in picking, packing, warehouse operations, or kit building (preferred)
  • Comfortable using IT systems and ERP software for stock control
  • Ability to follow instructions, read picking lists, and identify parts and cable types
