Responsibilities:
- Development and optimization of standardized PLC software modular system for shuttle systems
- PLC software development using the Siemens TIA Portal
- Conducting requirements analysis and contributing to the conceptual design of new solutions
- Creating software test specifications in accordance with EN 13849 and performing necessary acceptance and functional tests
- Documenting and providing training on the implemented software standards
- Supporting implementation teams with complex intralogistics challenges
Qualifications:
- Degree in Automation technology, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in control software development-ideally in mechanical or plant engineering
- Excellent skills in PLC programming using the Siemens TIA Portal
- Solid knowledge and experience in drive technology (SEW/Siemens) desirable
- In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and directives (e.g., EN 13849, EN 528, IEC 62443)
- Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and a strong commitment to quality
- Team spirit, initiative, and the motivation to help shape innovative solutions for automated storage systems
