Lead Software Engineer
We are looking for a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help develop software that powers connected devices and next-generation hardware solutions.
This is a hands-on engineering role where youll build scalable JavaScript applications that communicate with physical devices, develop robust APIs, and create software that bridges the gap between cloud services and embedded hardware. Youll work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, product teams, and UX designers to deliver high-quality products used by customers around the world.

Responsibilities
* Design and develop high-quality JavaScript applications.
* Build software that communicates with connected devices and hardware platforms.
* Develop REST APIs and real-time communication services.
* Work with engineers to integrate software with embedded systems and firmware.
* Create scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
* Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
* Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.
* Optimize application performance and reliability.
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
* Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Required Experience
* Strong experience with JavaScript.
* Experience building scalable software architectures.
* Experience integrating software with APIs and external systems.
* Knowledge of RESTful services and WebSockets.
* Experience using Git and modern development workflows.
* Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
* React
* Electron
* Hardware or device communication
* IoT platforms
* Bluetooth or BLE
* USB or Serial communication
* WebUSB or Web Bluetooth
* MQTT
* Embedded software environments
* Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Docker
* Kubernetes
* CI/CD pipelines
* Automated testing

The ideal candidate is a software engineer who enjoys building products rather than just websites. Youll be comfortable working across multiple technologies, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, and solving challenging technical problems involving both software and connected devices.

* Experience with industrial, medical, consumer electronics, or robotics products.
