About the role

As an Application Engineer, you will work at the intersection of engineering, product development and digitalisation.

You will be responsible for implementing new products and technical developments into internal software tools, ensuring that configurators and applications remain accurate, efficient and aligned with the latest product standards.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimise existing product configurators
  • Integrate new product developments into internal software tools
  • Work closely with R&D and Engineering teams
  • Manage and maintain consistent product master data
  • Analyse and improve the performance and functionality of internal tools
  • Coordinate technical updates and system developments
  • Act as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders
  • Support the development of new configurators together with external partners
  • Provide training and support to end users
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives

About you

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Approximately 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Previous experience in application management, application maintenance or a similar technical systems environment
  • Strong interest in IT systems, software and digital tools
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach
  • Structured, accurate and independent working style
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent English

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Experience with product configurators, engineering software or product data
  • Experience working with R&D / Engineering teams on technical system developments
