Location: Enfield, London
Job Summary
We are looking for reliable, hardworking Drivers' Mates to join our team based in Enfield. The successful candidates will assist drivers with deliveries, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring that items are delivered safely and on time to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with daily delivery routes and schedules.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Help deliver goods to residential and commercial customers.
- Ensure all items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Assist with carrying goods and placing them in designated areas.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy and organised.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and the transport team.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying goods.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience is an advantage but not essential.
